At Arkansas Flag and Banner I started off in retail sales. By the end of my employment I was the in-house web-content manager, website graphic designer, product photographer, and social media marketer I began my work focusing on search engine optimization and website organization using the system put in place from the 90’s.
I implemented Social Media Marketing utilizing Constant Contact for e-newsletters and flag alerts. At the time Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter were the new shopping markets to reach consumers, so I created the pages for Facebook, Pinterest, & Twitter. I managed all page content on the shopping website, the press center, and information output to Shop.com and Amazon.com. I made the graphics for all online advertising and promotions. I spear-headed the helpful documents and informational pages for the custom section.
I worked closely with the purchaser to research and create new products for business and consumer markets. I also implemented the Clearance section including the procedure for inventory. While some products came with images provided by the manufacturer, it required staging and photographing for the website.
My efforts increased sales from 2.8 million to 3.2 million. 85% of content created is still in use. I consulted on the needs and requirements for the new-website. Feel free to check out the content on www.flagandbanner.com for more information and examples of my work.
